Phones to close over lunch for 3 month trial period

Our Patient Services Hub will now close every day for 1 hour from 12:30 to 13:30 to accommodate staff lunch, communications and training.

This has been done for the welfare of our reception staff, in addition to giving them vital time to receive training and communications from management to improve operations.

It replaces a system where staff would take turns going on a lunch break, leaving few care coordinators to answer growing queues.  Managing lunch in this new way will allow us to fully staff phones and manage queues more effectively.

This is a trial run so please give feedback to staff or through our online suggestion box on the homepage.
