All vaccinations will be by appointment only to ensure adequate social distancing due to the risk of COVID19. Please can patients wear their own face mask to the appointment. We are currently providing clinics for patients who are 65 years and over. Please can you telephone now to make an appointment if you fall into this age group.
We are OPEN with a new way of working. We are now operating a total triage system. Please ring 01793 812221 for a telephone appointment.
In managing the coronavirus pandemic all doctor routine face to face appointments have been converted to telephone appointments. All patients will be triaged by a clinician who will deal with your needs in the safest possible way and will offer a face to face appointment if needed. Face to face appointments where possible will take place at Wroughton Health Centre. If you have been asked to come to the surgery, please wear a face covering and ring the buzzer on arrival.
Please post prescription requests through the letter box at Station House Surgery or the post box outside the main doors at Wroughton Health Centre. We will make every effort to dispense prescriptions within 72 hours.
With immediate effect we are asking ALL patients attending the surgery to wear a face covering to help us protect each other and reduce the spread of the disease.
The latest Government advice is to wear face coverings in enclosed public spaces: face coverings may be beneficial where it is hard to follow social distancing measures and you are more likely to come into contact with people you do not normally meet. Please note that face coverings should not be used on children under the age of 11 or those who may not be able to manage them correctly.
Thank you for your co-operation.
The Organ Donation opt out system in England came into effect on 20 May 2020. This means that all adults in England will be considered to have agreed to be an organ donor when they die, unless they have recorded a decision not to donate or are in one of the excluded groups: those under the age of 18, people who lack mental capacity to understand the new arrangements and take the necessary action, visitors to England and those not living here voluntarily, people who have lived in England for less than 12 months before their death. You still have a choice whether or not you wish to become a donor. (more…)
