Whooping cough cases increase

Cases of whooping cough (pertussis) reported to the Health Protection Agency (HPA) in England and Wales have more than doubled from 421 cases in 2010 to 1040 in 2011. Appointments are available morning and afternoon Monday to Friday and are booked every 10 minutes. If you feel you need longer then please ask the receptionist for a double appointment.

In addition, appointments are available to pre-book with a doctor on Monday and Thursday evenings until 8pm and on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7.15am.

Requests for same day appointments will be handled by our triage nurse.

We offer a range of appointment times Monday to Friday, every morning and every afternoon. In addition, we offer early morning appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturday morning appointments on the second Saturday of every month
